Skills

About me
I am a full-stack developer based in Bristol. I strive to deliver only the highest quality product to end users and take great pride in doing so.
With my skillset, I can overcome a multitude of software development challenges. That said, I am also highly-motivated to learn new languages, technologies and methodologies to take on new challenges and believe that this is one of the most exciting aspects of the job.
On this website, you can find my work experience and relevant qualifications, as well as examples of portfolio work that demonstrate my ability to plan, propose, develop and test a full-stack project from start to finish by myself.
You can find my contact details at the bottom of the page. I would love to hear from you!
Services
Some of the services I offer in my line of work
Design Wireframe
Before starting any new app or web development, I ensure that a thorough wireframe and functionality plan is in place. I use specialised software, such as Figma, or hand and paper for this.
Responsive Design
I am keenly aware of the importance of responsive design in app and web development. To that end, I am experienced at using frameworks like Bootstrap or media queries for mobile-first development.
Frontend Development
I am experienced at developing app and web frontends with a variety of different tech stacks (see my skills section above to get an idea of what I can do). I always develop frontends with UX in mind.
Backend Development
I am experienced at developing backends with PHP or Express.js. In my projects section below, you can find examples of connecting frontend with backend to make API calls or database queries.
Database Management
Database management is a crucial skill for almost everyone working in software development. I am experienced at managing MySQL, PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases.
Hardware Application
I have been building my own PCs for different operating systems for years and enjoy working on software with real-world interactivity, such as phone apps or Raspberry Pi/Arduino apps.

I also gained Arduino/ESP32 embedded development experience.
Trainee Developer
2023-2024
Having a few years of self-taught coding experience already and desiring a full-time career as a software developer, I decided to undertake the IT Career Switch Coding Traineeship, which I completed in my spare time over 1 year.
I developed full-stack projects e.g. Gazetteer, Company Directory (details below).
I also completed several full-stack training courses.

In 2024, I started work as a Frontend Developer for Light & Wonder in Bristol.
My primary role is to develop web games with input from adjacent teams e.g. design, art, math, backend, QA, compliance, marketing.
